– Train #51: This is an express train that departs from Bangkok at 10:30 pm and arrives in Chiang Mai at 12:10 pm. It is the slowest train, taking 13 hours and 40 minutes to complete the journey. It has second class fan sleeper berths, which cost 831 THB per person, and third class fan seats, which cost 271 THB per person. This train is ideal for those who are on a tight budget and don’t mind a longer travel time.
